Dr. Ebere Okereke is the Chief Program Officer at the Mohamed bin Zayed Foundation for Humanity, where she leads global initiatives focused on eliminating preventable diseases and strengthening public health systems. With over 30 years of experience spanning Africa Asia and the UK, she has held leadership roles at the Africa Public Health Foundation, Africa CDC, Public Health England, and has been an adviser in many global health fora. A champion for equity, inclusion, and African leadership in global health, she has helped shape continental frameworks for vaccine manufacturing, pandemic preparedness, and capacity building. Dr. Okereke was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for services to global health by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and is recognised as a powerful advocate and mentor for women of in global health
