The WHS Academic Alliance unites 28 leading academic institutions to strengthen evidence-based global health policy and international cooperation.
Founded by Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2009, the WHS Academic Alliance (formerly M8 Alliance) serves as the academic network of the World Health Summit. The Alliance drives science-based collaboration, connecting the academic community to advance global health through agenda-setting and the promotion of science-based solutions to global health challenges. The International Presidency of the World Health Summit rotates annually among members of the WHS Academic Alliance.
