As the World Health Summit 2026 takes place in Berlin from October 11–13, two members of the WHS Academic Alliance will host parallel Satellite Events in Uganda and Portugal, bringing the Summit to local audiences.
Makerere University and Coimbra Health will host local events featuring livestreams of selected WHS 2026 sessions, complemented by discussions, practical exercises, and opportunities for exchange. The Satellite Events connect the global conversations at WHS 2026 with local perspectives and priorities, creating space to reflect on what the discussions mean in different regional and institutional contexts.
Both events are open to all and free to attend, with no registration required.
