Dr. Seema Yasmin is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, Pulitzer prize finalist, and director of the Stanford Health Communication Initiative. A graduate of the University of Cambridge medical school and the journalism program at the University of Toronto, she combines her dual expertise in communications and medicine to study the spread of scientific mis- and disinformation and the impact of information inequity on health. She is clinical assistant professor of medicine at Stanford University and visiting professor of crisis management and communication at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
