Dr. Patricia Owira

Dr. Patricia Owira is a medical doctor and public health specialist with extensive experience advancing access to affordable, high-quality primary healthcare across East and Central Africa. As Associate Director of Health at Equity Group Foundation, she leads strategic partnerships and initiatives to strengthen health systems and expand integrated primary care for underserved communities. Previously, she served as Deputy Country Director and Principal Investigator at the International Centre for Reproductive Health Kenya, leading reproductive, maternal, and newborn health programs that informed global guidance and Kenya’s national health policies. She holds an MSc in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
