Maria Paola Chiesi

Maria Paola has a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology and a Master in Business Administration (MBA). Since 1995, he has worked at Chiesi Farmaceutici SpA, holding various roles in Business Development, Corporate Marketing, and Strategic Planning. Since 2010, Maria Paola has been involved, first as coordinator and, since 2021 , as President, in the Paolo Chiesi Foundation, a non-profit organization that embodies the Group's corporate social responsibility, dedicated to research and international cooperation projects in the fields of respiratory medicine and neonatology. One of the Foundation's primary objectives is to promote access to neonatal care in West Africa. Since 2015 , she has been Director of the Shared Value & Sustainability (SV&S) department, whose task is to constantly measure and quantify the Company's impacts on the environment and society, identify and implement integrated improvement plans, and report on the Group's environmental and social performance. In July 2023 he took on the role of Vice President of Chiesi Farmaceutici SpA. In 2026 , Maria Paola Chiesi was appointed President of Chiesi Farmaceutici SpA She is a member of the Board of Directors of CEA Parma (Center for Environmental Ethics); President of the Committee for Solidarity and Social Cohesion of the Parma Family Association; and President of the KilometroVerdeParma Social Enterprise Forestry Consortium. Maria Paola is also a Professional Coach, Coach Mentor, and Supervisor. She is married and the mother of three children.
