Prof. Dr. Luiz Augusto Galvão

Dr. Luiz Augusto Galvão represents Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (FIOCRUZ). He is a medical doctor with a Master and a Doctorate degrees in Public Health. Dr. Galvão's professional career includes extensive teaching and research experience at FIOCRUZ and a number of technical publications. He spent 25 years at PAHO/WHO as head of sustainable development and health equity. He served as president of the Brazilian Society of Toxicology and currently is a senior researcher at FIOCRUZ´s Center for Global Health.
