About Arshnee Moodley

Arshnee Moodley is Team Lead for Antimicrobial Resistance at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya and Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. With over 20 years of experience, 100 publications, she works at the interface of science and policy to promote responsible antimicrobial use and mitigate resistance risks in livestock, particularly in smallholder and semi-intensive systems in low- and middle-income countries. Her research also addresses the environmental impacts of antimicrobial use. She leads the Fleming Fund Regional Grant on AMR One Health in East and Southern Africa and serves as Chair of both the WOAH Working Group on AMR and the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform Steering Committee.
