About the session

Digital health has produced countless promising applications, platforms, and pilots. Far fewer have become trusted and sustainable components of health systems. The decisive challenge is no longer simply whether useful technologies can be developed, but whether institutions can integrate, govern, and scale them in ways that improve care and reduce inequality.

Drawing on experience from community-based healthcare in Bangladesh, two major European university hospitals, and Africa’s emerging continental regulatory architecture, this session examines the foundations that digital transformation requires: accessible delivery channels, interoperable systems, clinical integration, regulatory trust, sustainable investment, and accountable leadership.
