The WHS Academic Alliance Working Group on Oral Health and General Health, chaired by Sapienza University of Rome, will host the Expert Meeting “Connecting the Dots: Oral Health as a Potential Biomarker for General Health” on 8–9 June 2026 at Sapienza University of Rome.
The meeting will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, and public health experts from around the world to explore the growing evidence linking oral health to overall health and well-being. Discussions will focus on the role of oral health as a potential biomarker for systemic diseases, opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, and implications for research, policy, and healthcare practice.
The event will be held in the Organi Collegiali Room of the Rectorate Building and will be accessible both in person and online.
Organized within the framework of the WHS Academic Alliance, the meeting aims to strengthen interdisciplinary dialogue and advance a more integrated understanding of health through collaboration between experts from diverse fields.
