Youth Groups
Meet the WHS 2026 Youth Groups
We are proud to announce the 40 youth-led organizations and groups selected to attend WHS 2026 in Berlin with complimentary access to all three days of the Summit.
This year’s selected groups represent a wide range of regions, communities, and areas of work, from health and youth empowerment to education, advocacy, and social impact. They will contribute their perspectives, experiences, and ideas to global health discussions, engage with health leaders, experts, and fellow youth advocates, and take part in the Summit’s networking and social events.
Their participation reflects the World Health Summit’s commitment to fostering inclusive exchange and intergenerational dialogue, ensuring that young voices from different regions and communities are represented.

AKAYA Foundation
AKAYA Foundation exists to ensure that the girls most affected by global health inequity have a voice in the rooms where decisions are made about their lives. WHS 2026 represents exactly that room. We work at the intersection of health education, girls' empowerment, and community-led systems change across Ghana, the UK, and Kenya; and we want to bring that grassroots evidence directly into global health dialogue.
ANEM Portugal
The World Health Summit offers a unique opportunity for ANEM to contribute the perspectives of over 12,000 Portuguese medical students to global health discussions while learning from international experts and organisations. We aim to strengthen our advocacy, build meaningful partnerships, and translate innovative solutions into national initiatives that advance medical education, public health, and health policy.
Asian Medical Students' Association Hong Kong
As Hong Kong prepares to host the upcoming WHS Regional Meeting, the Organising Committee has kindly invited AMSAHK to provide input on the sessions that will be held. By attending the WHS in Berlin, it will allow our members to gain a deeper understanding of the meaningful work that goes on, and enhance the perspectives that we can provide for the WHS RM. Furthermore, the close alignment of our objectives in global health will hopefully give us new ways to serve our community with impact.
ASPOL (Association des Étudiants Polonais en France)
In 10 years, ASPOL grew from a community of Polish students at Sciences Po into a more diverse network, including medical and public policy students in France. This gives us a comparative perspective on health education and healthcare in France and Poland. Through WHS and building on our recent cooperation with UNESCO’s Paris headquarters, we want to develop a stronger health-related programme for the next Paris Polish Forum in April and for our Franco-Polish community.
Austrian Medical Students' Association (AMSA)
Our organization has represented Austrian medical students since 1951 and aims to give medical students a voice and a platform to form their education outside the regular curriculum. Going to the WHS would give our members the opportunity to learn more about various topics relating to health, connect with others, and exchange experiences and ideas. Our delegation last year was very inspired and shared a lot of amazing insights, so we would love to have the chance again!

We want to join WHS 2026 to bring this tested, low-resource model into a space that rarely includes LGBTIQ+ health or youth-led groups like ours. We also want to learn directly from other youth and civil society organizations working under similar constraints, and test whether our model can adapt beyond our own context.

At the same time, we seek a broader global health perspective to identify where Ukraine’s experience can contribute internationally and bring this knowledge back to our national youth network.
Youth for Planetary Health (YfPH)
The Summit’s themes - the strain of global crises on health, the concentration of power in specific people and areas, and weak collective action - resonate with YfPH. We examine these issues through the lens of climate crises and their impacts on health. We aim to empower youth, especially in vulnerable regions, in planetary health, and promote collective action with our international team. At the Summit, we hope to connect with like-minded groups, share knowledge, and learn to expand our work.
