About Raissa Sorgho
Dr. Raissa Sorgho is a global health specialist with over a decade of experience in development, consultancy, and research. Dr. Sorgho completed her undergraduate at Bucknell University (USA) and holds a master’s in public health and a doctorate in global health from Heidelberg University (Germany). Her expertise spans from health to climate change and policy with an emphasis on population-based implementation and evidence-based decision making using mixed methods and participatory approaches. She has published and presented her work at high-level conferences including the Conference of Parties. She is currently a Senior Researcher at the University of Bonn's Center For Development Research and the Director of Global Nutrition and Partnerships at the Public Health Institute in the USA, where she leads a diverse team, manages a wide portfolio of international programs, and spearheads partnership building.
