About Muhammad Jawad Noon
Dr. Muhammad Jawad Noon is a physician, economist, and AI engineer working on the risk, privacy, and governance of AI systems. He is founding Co-Chair of the AI Working Group at the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, and previously served as Secretary and Treasurer of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Committee on Global Health. He is also Associate Editor of the Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Dr. Noon has published across numerous journals, including the Nature, Lancet, and BMJ families, and his op-eds and research have appeared in media outlets including Fortune, Scientific American, Al Jazeera, CNN, and Business Insider.
Dr. Noon has received numerous international honors, including the German Medical Award, the European Award in Medicine, the Wasserheit Young Leader Award from the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, and the 40 Under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award from the Boston Congress of Public Health. He is also a TEDx speaker.
