Hugo Dürr

Hugo Dürr is Associate Equitable Access Director in Social Responsibility at Novo. He develops sustainable, scalable models to expand access to insulins and GLP-1s, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Working across access strategy, partnership development, and cross-functional project leadership, he translates Novo’s social responsibility ambitions into practical access solutions. He brings together internal teams and external partners to align access models with product development, supply, regulatory pathways and sustainable business models. He builds partnerships that connect pharmaceutical innovation with the needs of underserved populations and embeds equitable access considerations into the development of future products and programmes. Hugo holds an MSc in International Development and Management from Lund University (LUMID). His earlier research explored barriers to maternal healthcare in rural Guatemala, grounding his work in the realities of underserved communities.
