Muhammad H. Zaman is Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor of Biomedical Engineering and International Health at Boston University. Born and raised in Pakistan, and trained in the US, Professor Zaman's current work focuses on understanding health systems, improving access to quality care and developing robust systems level solutions and technologies for high-value healthcare problems in the developing world and in refugee environments. He is also a prolific writer on issues of innovation and public health and a weekly columnist for Express Tribune, one of the leading Pakistan daily newspapers.
