As Senior Program Officer for ICT & Innovation at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Health, Center for Communication Programs, Ms. Good Boncana's work focuses on using digital health (ICTs, e/mHealth) tools, platforms and partnerships to support frontline health workers, health systems strengthening and improved governance in low- and middle-income countries to lessen health disparities, drive behavior change, improve access to information and quality care in resource-poor areas of the world, particularly for women and girls. Under USAID's flagship knowledge management health project, K4Health, she serves as Co-Chair of the Global Digital Health Network – a global community of practice for 3000 health technologists. The Network convenes monthly meetings in Washington, DC and remotely, as well as hosts an annual conference - the Global Digital Health Forum (previously called the mHealth Summit) - and other events to connect people to each other and to digital health resources.
Ms. Good Boncana's background includes experience in nearly 50 counties, with expertise in public health communications, social and behavior change communication, advocacy, landscape assessments, capacity building, partnership coordination and resource mobilization, strategic knowledge and management, and documentary reporting.
