Jaber Oufkir is a medical student from Morocco and the first Moroccan Youth Delegate to the 77th World Health Assembly. He has previously served as the IFMSA Program Coordinator for Healthy Lifestyles and Non-Communicable Diseases and is currently the IFMSA Liaison Officer for Public Health Issues. With over five years of experience in volunteering and Public Health advocacy, Jaber Oufkir has organised more than 40 National and International campaigns and initiatives, all driven by his mission to ensure health for all and build a more resilient future for the next generations.
Jaber is a passionate advocate for meaningful youth engagement, environmental health, and the fight against Non-Communicable Diseases. His deep commitment to addressing climate change focuses on its impact on vulnerable communities, including those affected by climate mobility. He is dedicated to empower youth as essential drivers of climate solutions, advocating for their role in education, awareness, prevention, and more inclusive policies, that ensure all voices are heard and that no one is left behind.
