About Katrin Seeher

Originally trained as a psychologist, Katrin has been working with people with neurodegenerative diseases and their families for almost 20 years. In her current role at the World Health Organization, Katrin is responsible for the implementation of the Global action plan on the public health response to dementia 2017-2031 and its monitoring framework, the Global Dementia Observatory (GDO). She led the development of WHO’s Global status report on the public health response to dementia and assists Member States in formulating country-level responses to dementia and other neurological conditions.
