About Dr. Alain Berset
Dr. Alain Berset is Federal Councilor and Head of the Federal Department of Home Affairs FDHA since 2012. He was President of the Council of States from 2008-2009 and Vice-President of the parliamentary Social Democratic Group from 2005-2011. He holds a degree in Political Science and a PhD in Economics.
