Andrew Ullmann is in his second term as an elected member of the German Bundestag. He is a physician by training. Ullmann is a member of the health committee and serves as the spokesperson on health of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) parliamentary group. Ullmann is also the chair of the sub-committee on Global Health of the German Bundestag and regional chair for Western & Central Europe of the global parliamentarians’ Network UNITE. Ullmann has a background in Infectious Diseases from Harvard Medical School and was trained in hematology and oncology at the University of Mainz. He holds a full professor of Infectious Diseases at the Julius-Maximilian University of Wuerzburg, Germany, where he also was elected to the City Council.
