Gilles Bloch

A graduate technician, doctor and researcher, medical imaging specialist, Gilles Bloch spent part of his career at the French Atomic Energy Commission before taking on important responsibilities in research administration, notably by taking over the management of the National Research Agency at the time of its creation, and then being appointed Director General for Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Since 2015, he had been President of the University of Paris-Saclay.
