About Edem Adamanov

Edem Bekirovych Adamanov is currently serving as a Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, where he oversees the ministry’s financial and economic policy, leads centralized procurement of medical supplies, and coordinates the reconstruction of health-care infrastructure damaged by conflict. He was appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers to the post of Deputy Minister of Health. In his role he engages with international and private sector stakeholders on health-industry matters: for instance, he has held dialogue with the European Business Association on enhancing transparency in procurement, managed entry agreements, and health technology assessment reform. He also participates in efforts to restore Ukraine’s clinical trials ecosystem—working with regulatory teams to amend laws and streamline approval processes under wartime conditions. Through those mandates, Adamanov plays a central role in ensuring continuity of medical supply chains, advancing health financing reforms, and rebuilding Ukraine’s health sector amid ongoing crisis.
