Fredrick Msigallah is a policy analyst with 22 years’ experience of working in the NGO sector of which 12 years in the disability movement. Fredrick has a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of Dar es Salaam-Tanzania and a Master degree in International Development: Public Policy Management from the University of Manchester in UK. Fredrick Msigallah has extensive experience in human rights, project management, lobbying and advocacy and capacity building on disability rights and disability inclusion. For the past twelve years, Fredrick has actively engaged in advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities including the right to quality health care services. He has also engaged in training health care providers on disability inclusive services, conducting accessibility assessment of health facilities to determine their accessibility to persons with disabilities and development of training materials for health care providers, employers and development organisations. Further, he has been actively engaged in creating awareness of people with disabilities on their right to quality health care services, right to employment, right to education and right to be included in all development processes. Fredrick has also been involved in advocating for effective enforcement of laws and policies that promote and protect the rights of people with disabilities. Being a person with physical impairment, Fredrick’s passion is to see people with disabilities enjoying their basic human rights as those without disabilities and that they are fully included in social, economic, political and cultural aspects. Currently, Fredrick is working for the CBM partner - CCBRT (Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania) as Programme Manager- Advocacy and Disability Inclusion.
