About Usman Mushtaq
In 2023, Mushtaq was the Vice Mayor for Labour, Integration, and Social Services in Oslo. Previously, he served as the City Council Secretary for the then Governing Mayor Raymond Johansen and as an advisor to now Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Mushtaq was a special advisor to the Pakistani government during the COVID-19 pandemic and helped establish the non-profit organization Eat. Furthermore, he was the CEO and founder of the company Easy Comply. Mushtaq is educated as a doctor and economist, and he grew up in Stovner, Oslo.
