Peter Wiessner

PETER WIESSNER, Germany, Diploma in Social Science and as social work. Mr Wiessner is a long-term community and LGBTI activist. He works as the advocacy and communication officer for Action against AIDS Germany, a German network working on global health financing, access and UHC. In this capacity Mr Wiessner follows the UNAIDS PCB and the Global Fund Board meetings and relevant G7 and G20 processes. During Germanys G7 presidency Mr Wiessner served as the Co-Chair of the C7 Global Health Working Group with the aim to discuss and develop recommendations for the G7 summit communique declaration.
