Prof. Dr. Clara Tabea Schoeder

Clara Schoeder is a trained pharmacist having studied at the University of Kiel (2007–2012) and completed her PhD in Pharmacy at the University of Bonn (2013–2017) in the laboratory of Christa E. Müller. She then pursued postdoctoral research at Vanderbilt University in the laboratories of Jens Meiler and James E. Crowe, Jr. (2018–2021) using computational methods to design Filovirus vaccines. Since 2021, she has led a Junior Research Group at the Institute of Drug Discovery, Leipzig University Faculty of Medicine, and since August 2023 has additionally held a Junior Professorship focused on the development of novel immunotherapeutic drugs at the same institution.
