Dr. Cheng conducts research on psychosocial and policy aspects of occupational safety and health (OSH). Her recent work concerns psychosocial work hazards and mental health in the workplace, workers’ compensation policies, the impacts of information and communication technology on OSH management, and safety and health issues in healthcare sectors. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and has authored three books addressing occupational health issues in Taiwan. In 2013, She co-founded a non-governmental organization – the Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Link – to advocate for occupational health policy reforms and to promote occupational health rights. Currently, she is the director of the Institute of Health Policy and Management at the National Taiwan University.
