Mark Eccleston- Turner is a Senior Lecturer in Global Health Law at Kings College London. He is one of the UK’s leading scholars on international law and global health. His published research has addressed legal issues relevant to pandemic diseases, global health governance and international law. His research specialism is in the field of international law and infectious diseases. Within this, his research interests lie in the f eld of pandemic preparedness, and the law of international organizations in the context of global health. He has published extensively on international law and infectious diseases. He recently co-authored a research monograph entitled “the declaration of a Public Health Emergency of International Concern: between International law and politics”.
