Dianne Stewart rejoined the Global Fund in October 2017 and serves as Deputy Director of the External Relations and Communications Division. She leads the Donor Relations Department and coordinates the Global Fund’s Replenishment, which raised US$ 14 billion in 2019, and the organization’s engagement in G7 and G20 processes. Dianne previously worked at the Global Fund from its creation in 2002 until 2009, setting up the governance, donor relations and replenishment processes. A South African national, Dianne began her international career at UNHCR, and has worked at UNFPA, the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) and the Global Financing Facility for Women and Children’s Health at the World Bank (GFF).
