About Stine Bosse

Stine Bosse is a Danish businesswoman and a member of the European Parliament for Moderaterne (Renew Europe) and a Vice-Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Public Health. MEP Bosse previously served as a director of the board of insurer Allianz SE and has served on the boards of telecoms firm TDC, Nordea Bank, Grundfos and others. She was Group CEO of Tryg, the largest insurer in the Nordic region, from 2003 until 2011. She has also served as chairman of several NGOs, including PlanBØRNEfonden (part of Plan International). In 2010 the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, appointed Stine Bosse as Advocate for the Millennium Development Goals. She was twice named as one of The Most Influential Business Women In The World. Stine Bosse holds a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and is also a mother of two daughters.
