Nour Obeidat

Dr. Obeidat serves as the Director of the Cancer Control Office at King Hussein Cancer Center, an Office which seeks to enhance cancer control in Jordan through education, training, advocacy and research; and is also the Director of KHCC’s CTTTP-accredited Tobacco Dependence Treatment Training Program. Dr. Obeidat is a pharmacist with a PhD in Health Outcomes Research, and has been active in the field of Cancer and Tobacco Control Research and Tobacco Dependence Treatment for the past 14 years. Her research work has involved clinical studies, applied studies evaluating the operations of KHCC’s TDT clinics, and public health research to promote cancer control efforts. She has also collaborated with stakeholders to support national initiatives to improve the cancer control status in the country.
