Karin joined Pfizer in 2023 as the Chief Oncology Medical Officer through the acquisition of Seagen. She had joined Seagen from a SFO based biotech and served as the Sr Vice President, Global Head of Medical Affairs. Previously, she spent 25 years at Eli Lilly and Co. where her experience spans cross- functional leadership roles, and several therapeutic areas including Diabetes, and Neuroscience with a concentrated effort in Oncology for the last 12 years of her tenure. During her career she brought over ten new medicines to patients in the US and international markets; in many cases changing the standard of care in multiple solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, type II diabetes, and schizophrenia. She has doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Kansas and undergraduate study at Kansas State University.
