Dr. Raissa Sorgho is a global health specialist with over a decade of experience in development, consultancy, and research. Dr. Sorgho completed her undergraduate at Bucknell University (USA) and holds a master’s in public health and a doctorate in global health from Heidelberg University (Germany). Her expertise spans from health to climate change and policy with an emphasis on population-based implementation and evidence-based decision making using mixed methods and participatory approaches. She has published and presented her work at high-level conferences including the World Health Summit and the Conference of Parties. She is currently the Director of Global Nutrition and Partnerships at the Public Health Institute in the USA, where she leads a diverse team, manages a wide portfolio of international programs, and spearheads partnership building, while retaining her affiliations at Heidelberg University and Johns Hopkins.
