Barkın Arak

Mr. Arak is Director of Innovation and Business Development in Boğaziçi University Technology Transfer Office. He has been managing Technology Transfer Offices of top Turkish Universities since 2017, establishing entrepreneurship, incubation, accelerator programs, structuring and managing the intellectual property and commercialization processes of universities, creating industry – university collaborations for technology transfer and joint projects, restructuring technology transfer offices from basic university divisions to incorporations. His previous experiences include being PMO of Şişecam, one of the leading European glass manufacturers, taking several positions in Bosch Turkey organization such as project manager for global development projects, patent and innovation coordination of several Bosch Turkey divisions, R&D Quality coordination, R&D engineering in Bosch Turkey and Germany. He is a part of the country-wide mentor pool for entrepreneurs and SME's – founded by TUBİTAK (the scientific and technological research council of Turkey). He is a certified patent attorney, an inventor with over 30 national & international patents. He is a member in several organizations including PMI.
