Markus J. Neumann

Dr. Markus Neumann is member of the Executive Committee of Bioscientia /Sonic Healthcare and their International Director, mandated to drive the company´s international expansion into the leading medical laboratory chain with global footprint. Previous to this assignment, Dr. Neumann has held senior management positions in the field of Healthcare IT, both for T-Systems in Vienna and EMC² Corporation in London and Frankfurt, and has also worked for the strategic unit of Siemens´ global MRI division, as an advisor to their Executive Board. In the recent past Dr. Neumann has led German healthcare delegations to the Middle East and escorted the Federal Ministers Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Sigmar Gabriel to the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC). Dr. Neumann is active board member of the German Healthcare Partnership (GHP) which is an initiative under the umbrella of the Federal Association of German Industries (BDI), endorsed by the Federal Ministries AA, BMZ and BMWi. Being a Medical Doctor by education, Dr. Neumann is board-certified member of the German Chamber of Physicians. He also obtained a degree in business administration and completed Executive Programs at Oxford and INSEAD, focusing on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Leadership.
