Andreas Vilcinskas

Prof. Dr. andreas Vilcinskas currently holds the position as Head of Department for Applied Entomology at the University of Gießen as well as Project Group Leader “Bio-Ressources” at the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology (IME). Since 2014 he is Coordinator and spokesperson of the LOEWE Center for Insect Biotechnology. 2006-2013 Prof. Vilcinskas was Managing Director of the Institute of Phytopathology and Applied Zoology at the Inerdisziplinary Research Center (IFZ) of the University of Gießen.
