About Mikheil Sarjveladze

Mikheil Sarjveladze was born on December 22, 1978, in Tbilisi. He graduated from Tbilisi State University with a degree in law. From 1999 to 2003, he worked as a lawyer at the law firm “ kordzadze and Svanidze”. From 2003 to 2010, he was a lawyer and partner at the law firm “Svanidze and Partners”. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a lawyer and partner at the law firm “Sarjveladze and Mshvenieradze”. From 2012 to 2013, he was the Chairman of the State Enforcement Bureau of Georgia.From 2013 to 2018, he served as the Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, and from 2018 to 2020 he was the First Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia. Since 2020, he has been a member of the 10th convocation of the Georgian Parliament, elected on the party list of the electoral bloc “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia”. Since December 11, 2020, he has been the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration. On March 11, 2024, he was appointed as the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
