I am a global health strategist and policy expert dedicated to strengthening health systems, advancing equity-driven policies, and driving institutional transformation. My work spans health diplomacy, pandemic response, disease elimination, and global governance, with a strong focus on decolonizing health frameworks and integrating traditional medicine into modern healthcare.
With leadership roles across WHO, Africa CDC, US CDC, the African Union, and The Carter Center, I have been at the forefront of health security, vaccine equity, and infectious disease response. My expertise covers neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), Ebola, COVID-19, and broader public health emergencies, where I have led policy development, outbreak response, and institutional capacity-building efforts at national and international levels.
Currently, I lead International Cooperation & Partnerships at the Charité Competence Center on Traditional & Integrative Medicine (CCCTIM) in Berlin, where I drive research collaborations and policy innovations to integrate evidence-based traditional medicine into global health systems.
