Achim Reddig

Achim Reddig started to explore the world of agriculture as a research assistant in 1995 for CIAT in Colombia and directed further research projects in Peru and Ecuador. Mr. Reddig joined BASF in Bolivia in 1997. Since 1997, Mr. Reddig was based in Brazil and Colombia and had various roles in marketing and sales including the responsibility for the Public Health business for Latin America. Assignments in Italy and Germany included the arena of strategy and new business development. Since 2018, Achim is the Director of BASF’s Global Public Health business & mission for BASF. Our partnerships make a significant impact in distributing life-saving nets with the goal of sustained innovation to eliminate vector-borne diseases. Climbing mountains and sailing oceans are his passion underlining the never-ending motivation to explore.
