Dr. Spo Kgalamono is the Executive Director of the National Institute for Occupational Health of South Africa. She has over 20 years of experience practicing occupational health as a registered Occupational Medicine Specialist. She is also the Chair of Occupational Health and Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand, which includes her training occupational medicine doctors. Dr Kgalamono played a crucial role in the development of policy to respond to Covid-19 in the workplace in South Africa and has served in several national and international committees on workers’ health of the International Labour Organization and World Health Organization.
