Dr. Rei Goto is an associate professor at Graduate School of Business Administration, Keio University. He received his M.D. from Kyoto University. After two year’s residency of medicine in Kobe City General Hospital, he started the research of health economics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Kyoto University in 2005. After he has taught health economics at Konan University in Kobe for seven years as a lecturer and an associate professor, he returned to Kyoto in 2012. After 4 years of his research career in Kyoto University, he joined Graduate School of Business Administration, Keio University from 2016. His research area includes health economics, behavioral economics (addiction, measurement of time and risk preferences parameters, preventive behaviour, prescription and treatment choice of physicians) and health technology assessment. He serves as a board member of Japanese Heath Economics Association (JHEA).
