Imogen Foulkes is originally from Scotland, and studied at Edinburgh University and then Stanford University before beginning her career with Scottish television. She moved to Swiss Radio International, where she reported on the conflict in former Yugoslavia, and then became the BBC’s Geneva and Switzerland Correspondent in 2004. Her assignments have taken her from an ICRC medical mission in Colombia, to UN human rights promotion in Tunisia, to UN support for elderly refugees in Serbia, to an investigation into drug resistant TB in prisons in Central Asia.
