Dr. Siaka Debe was qualified and graduated Medical Doctor in July 2010 at University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and joined in the same year the National Center for Research and Training on malaria. He undertook several training such as basic GCP, scientific writing, protocol development, project management. Dr. Debe occupies positions of clinical investigator and Head of research unit; and he is responsible for conducting and performing clinical trials on malaria drugs and vaccines. With the team they carry out numerous studies from phase Ib to phase IV, vaccines trials whether at blood stage, liver stage or placental level; whether among infants or pregnant women.
Since November 2016 Dr. Debe is an EDCTP-TDR’s fellow at European Vaccine Initiative (EVI), Germany.
