Gerd Sutter

Prof. Gerd Sutter is Chair of Virology at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität Munich. An expert in the field of vaccines working at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität (LMU) Munich, Germany, he has helped to develop Modified Vaccinia virus Ankara (MVA) as a promising viral vaccine vector. He is concurrently a Principal Investigator for the German Center for Infection Research, working to prevent zoonotic and emerging viral infections. He is also a member of several advisory boards and publication editing review boards.
