Dr. Berit Hamer is Director International Cooperation at Ottobock. In her current position, she develops and manages strategic partnerships with governmental, non-governmental and international organizations in order to improve access and quality of health services in emerging and developing countries. Berit acts as Ottobock representative in various committees such as the UHC2030 Private-Sector Constituency, the German Healthcare Alliance (GHA), the Industry Advisory Group of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) and the ISPO Education Core Committee. She has comprehensive experience in developing health policies, health care and education infrastructures in industrial as well as academic environments. A qualified Biologist, she obtained her doctorate in Medical Informatics at the Medical University Center Göttingen.
