Dr. Ina Danquah studied nutrition science in Potsdam, Germany and Accra, Ghana. She performed her PhD at the Charité – Universitaetsmedizin Berlin in collaboration with the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, Ghana. Ina also obtained a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She completed her habilitation in 2018 and has recently moved from the German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbrücke (DIfE) to the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health (HIGH). There, Ina leads the working group ‘Climate change, nutrition and health’. Her research interests cover the interactions of dietary behavior and climate change in relation to human health, particularly among populations living in sub-Saharan Africa and among African migrants in Europe.
