Norman Schräpel is a policy advisor at GIZ and supports the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on digital development. He is a trained medical anthropologist and has conducted long-time field research in South Africa and Rwanda on information and communication technologies (ICTs) that make a contribution to health care. He is also a member of the LOST research group (Law, Organisation, Science and Technology) at the Department of Anthropology and Philosophy (University of Halle).
