About Jeremy Wohlwend

Jeremy Wohlwend is a recent PhD graduate from MIT, where he worked under the supervision of Professor Regina Barzilay. His research centers on biomolecular modeling and its applications in immunology, with a particular focus on making large-scale structure and interaction modeling more efficient and broadly accessible. During his PhD he co-led the creation of Boltz-1 and Boltz-2, open-source foundation models for biomolecular structure and binding affinity prediction. These models have been widely adopted across academia, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research, supporting both basic science and translational applications.
