Christian Hochfeld

Christian Hochfeld headed the Sustainable Transport Programme in China at the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) before becoming Managing Director of Agora Verkehrswende in February 2016. From 2004 to 2010, he was a member of the Öko-Institut's Executive Board, before which he had been a research associate at the same institute since 1996. Hochfeld holds a degree in engineering and studied technical environmental protection at the Technical University of Berlin. Since 2015 he has been a member of the International Advisory Board of the Chinese Platform for Electric Mobility (China EV100).
