Prof. Dr. med. vet. Norbert Mencke, Dipl EVPC Studies of veterinary medicine at University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Germany (Stiftung Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover). Certified veterinarian since 1987. PhD studies at the Department of Agriculture in Adelaide, Australia in conjunction with the Institute for Parasitology of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover under a German Research Grand (DFG). Certified veterinarian for parasitology (1995) and member of the European veterinary specialists in parasitology certified by the European Board of Veterinary Specialists (EVPC 2003). Lecturing parasitology to graduate and PhD students in veterinary parasitology and tropical veterinary medicine at the University of Hannover (since 2003). Member of the Supervisory Board of Veterinarians without Borders (Tierärzte ohne Grenzen e.V.) Germany
